Behavior Policy
A weekly Make Your Day calendar will be given to student's every Monday to keep you informed as to the number of points they earned and what steps, if any, they needed for the day. The purpose of this form is to make you aware of what your child is doing throughout the day and to identify any patterns in behavior that may be occurring so that we can work together to eliminate them from continuing.
Make Your Day Rule:
- No one has the right to interfere with the learning, safety and well-being of others.
Consequences
- Step 1: Remove self from the group to sit and reflect on their chosen behavior
- Step 2: Remove self from the group and stand to reflect on their chosen behavior
- Step 3: Remove self from the group and read the Make Your Day rule and reflect on their chosen behavior
- Step 4: Removal from classroom and parent/teacher/student conference
- Step 5: Removal from classroom with an office referral
Rewards
- Compliments (from teachers, classmates, peers, and administration)
- Certificates (class and school wide)
- Money to be used for end-of-the-month auctions.
